Stark Hunter has written six unpublished novels and three poetry volumes since his graduation from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in 1975. After literally being a "starving writer" for four years in the 1970's, Hunter eventually realized that getting endless rejection slips would not pay the bills, so he reluctantly began his career as an English teacher in 1979. In 1998, after 19 years of educating the nation's youth, he was selected for inclusion in the fifth edition of Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Currently he resides in Southern California with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies are music, cinema, reading, collecting sports memorabilia, taking long walks into the hills and, of course, writing.
